Bio
Brad Houk and his wife have resided in The Woodlands since 2014.
They raised five children while living in Texas, New Jersey, Virginia and London, England.
Work Experience
- Retired from ExxonMobil as a technical executive after working over 40 years in the refining and chemicals industries.
- Proven to be results oriented, combining deep analytical skills with strong leadership capabilities to deliver impactful change.
- Worked in research, engineering and technical support for manufacturing while supporting facilities around the world.
- Experience with managing budgets, economic evaluation of alternatives and stewardship of maintenance and improvement programs / projects.
Community Involvement
- Active member of Mims Baptist Church
- MUD 7 Director since 2022 and Woodlands Water Agency Trustee since 2024
- Served as Election Judge and Election Clerk in Montgomery County
- Long-time member of Woodlands Fit and participant in area running events

- Georgia Tech: Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering
- License Professional Engineer (Texas, inactive)
