Christine Townsend

 
Known as Kiki to family and friends, Christine was born in Rome, Italy, where she spent the first several years of her life.  Her family then moved to the United Kingdom and Kiki has lived in London, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Dublin, Ireland.
 
She began her education in the UK and continued it at the University of Illinois.  Kiki graduated with a B.A. degree in British Literature and a double minor in French and Latin.  She is also a graduate of the Zona Spray/Western Reserve School of Cooking in Hudson, Ohio.
 
Her first job was with the American Library Association.  She then worked as financial public relations executive at Baxter International, a global healthcare company.  Her next move was to Burson Marsteller, an international public relations and communications firm, as senior account executive. 
 
Her last job was as head her own PR firm, Horton Communications, to service small to mid-size businesses.
After she came to Houston, Kiki became a volunteer docent at Bayou Bend, the American Decorative house museum of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
 
Kiki is not married, has no children and currently no pets.
